My goal as a clinician is to create corrective emotional experience for clients who are unsure about how therapy can help them or who did not have successful therapy experience in the past. What I have learned over the years of being a client and a therapist is that it’s important to find a “right” therapist and that some changes are possible for most issues. I encourage you to meet with me a couple of times to see how it feels to work with me. Although I have worked as a therapist for 25 years in hospitals, schools and community settings and have knowledge and experience in specific fields, I am not an expert on anyone’s life. I see therapy as a journey where I walk alongside my clients by listening, clarifying and ensuring that I understand where they are coming from and where they wont to go. I invite their feedback and frequently check in to ensure that we are on track. I work with my clients within their time and financial resources to identify attainable goal and way to move towards them.
I am skilled in diagnosing many clinical conditions and work closely with family doctors and psychiatrist to develop treatment plans that integrate psychotherapy, life style changes and medication. I also have a lot of experience preparing supporting documentation for clients dealing with mental health issues that impact their education or employment. I truly believe that most people can benefit from therapy and I am particularly interested in helping clients who are facing life transitions such as entering university, graduating, starting a family, changing jobs or retiring. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit.

As a social worker and therapist in my 60s, I bring not only clinical experience but also the wisdom and perspective that come from navigating life’s seasons firsthand. I’m here to support individuals—particularly older adults—through transitions with empathy, insight, and a deep respect for each person’s lived journey.
I offer therapy, counselling, and coaching to help navigate life’s challenges and uncover the root causes of what may be holding you back. These challenges may include self-esteem, anxiety, a loss or rediscovery of purpose, speaking difficult truths, navigating menopause and aging, career transitions, retirement, or caregiving stress.

I provide therapy for both individuals and couples, offering a safe and quiet space where clients can slow down and take the time to address their struggles. These struggles range from relationship challenges to anxiety, self-esteem, anger, trauma, and various other issues. Clients often face difficulty identifying the root causes of their issues or understanding how these challenges manifest in their everyday lives, hindering their ability to achieve their goals or function in a way that feels “normal.”
Couples frequently find themselves stuck in repetitive and frustrating fights and patterns that lead to nowhere. These conflicts can be rooted in issues such as infidelity, anger, disconnection, loneliness, and more. Discovering the origins of your struggles and understanding their nature can be empowering, liberating, and a crucial step toward achieving meaningful and lasting change.
I work with clients in an honest and empathetic manner, but I am also direct and challenging. Your time is important, and once you begin the therapy process, you want to experience change and progress toward your goals. I find immense fulfillment in witnessing people transform themselves and their lives. Observing people grow and change is truly beautiful.
